A Quinceañera is a beautiful tradition that gives thanks to God for the gift of life while inviting young women to continue growing in their Catholic faith.  Our Lady of Mount Carmel does not do private quinceañeras. Our communal quinceañeras occur three times a year - in March, June and October. The quinceañera, or 15-year old young lady, must be baptized and have received First Communion, and be able to provide copies of both certificates. She also must have been Confirmed, or be able to show that she is in the 2nd year of Confirmation formation and have a letter from the Religious Education department stating that she is in good standing. The fee for each family within the communal celebration is $250. There is an additional $250 for music, which is split between all participants.
